Elegant carving and skillful joinery characterize this petite scroll top table from the Qing dynasty. Made of rosewood, an esteemed hardwood, it features an ornately carved apron with four dragons symbolizing power. The unusual and elegantly shaped legs are detailed with cushion carvings. The side panels have continuous beaded aprons that line the rectangular openings created by the legs' stretchers and foot.
