Distinguished by its articulated apron and sculptural feet, this handsome low table was once used as a daybed. Not only reserved for resting, the daybed served as a place to have tea, play a board game or engage in an intimate moment. Made around 1850 in Shanxi province, the table is made of Chinese northern elmwood masterfully assembled without the aid of nails or screws. Use this low-profile, high-impact table as a coffee table or pile on accent pillows and use it as an extra seat.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
