This exquisitely crafted shallow side table was made over a century ago in the Shanxi region of China. It is made out of Northern elmwood with Classic mortise and tenon joinery, carved “sword” legs, simple spandrels and an apron with subtle reveals. The slender sword legs are beautifully balanced upon carved small pads which gives the table an uplifting air of sophistication, lightness and elegance.
