Provincial Tray

This tray has a beautifully simple form, but the Chinese artisan who made it over a century ago would have been very deliberate in pairing the right material and design. Many Chinese woodcarvers let the wood inspire their work. The wood has aged beautifully and the character of the wood has become more interesting over time.
