This rustic container has an unusual hourglass shape, with a square base and a tapered upper half divided into three compartments. The exterior is coated with red and burgundy lacquer, now well-worn from years of use. Possibly originally used as a serving dish for betel quid, the footed tray has wonderful character and makes for a storied jewelry box or desktop organizer.

What They're Saying

Suzanne Lovell | Suzanne Lovell, Inc.

“I am particularly fond of PAGODA RED as we have known the family for so long. Betsy is a professional in every way and her intelligent taste comes from a long line of family knowledge in the arts. She and her team are the very best to work with and we find treasures with every visit!”
