In ancient China, altar tables were used to hold musical instruments or display precious jades and porcelain. This elegant table was made in Northern China over 150 years ago. The clean lines, square spandrels, and square legs have a distinctively modern feel, complimented by the lacquered walnut, which has aged to a beautiful patina.
