This refined elmwood cupboard was created in China’s Jiangsu region in the mid-18th century, shortly after the region was established as an imperial province. Perhaps furnishing the home of a newly relocated official, the cabinet exemplifies the restraint of Ming-dynasty design. Simple lattice doors offer a discreet view of the contents stored within while adding a sense of lightness to the cabinet’s minimalist silhouette. Its timeless design suits the modern household, serving as a media cabinet, linen cupboard, or bookcase.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
