Engraved with simple and elegant scrollwork around its skirt, this European 12K gold thimble dates to the early 20th century. Cast in the late Victorian period, the thimble is engraved with the name "Lou" and bears the 12k gold hallmark. Housed in a leather case that has aged beautifully with time, the thimble neatly nestles into the case's blue satin lined interior.

From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.

Locking mechanism no longer functions.
