This late 19th-early 20th century wooden drum was made by hand in Beijing, China. The hide top and bottom is finished with hand made iron nail heads. This drum would have originally been used in a procession or possibly as part of a Peking opera performance. The custom crafted steel legs reimagine the musical instrument as a storied and unique side table.
