Courtyard Lattice Coffer

Inspired by the facades of traditional courtyard homes in Shanxi province, our talented carpenters modified this 19th-century coffer with door fronts repurposed from Qing-dynasty lattice windows. The lattice opens up the design with its airy, geometric grid and a fresh, hand-applied red lacquer finish brings out its clean lines with warm color. Wonderful for serving as a sideboard or, alternatively, as a media console.
