The delicate blue and white bamboo design of this porcelain teacup was painted in a muted, grey pigment, only to be transformed to a rich, cobalt blue by the fiery heat of the kiln. Retaining the immediacy of the artist’s brushwork, the design offers a sense of simplicity and spontaneity that looks as fresh today as it did serving tea at the turn of the 20th century.

Each handmade cup is unique and varies slightly.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
