Tansu are Japanese chests, trunks or cupboards used for all types of storage. These chest were made over a century ago, they are efficient and well crafted out of wood with easy to slide drawers. The contemporary wrought iron hardware and stands have been beautifully coated with hot rapeseed oil, turning them black. Graceful while being substantial, these beautiful tansu are the height of elegance and orderliness.
