Eight Corner Stone Drum

Hand-carved from a block of limestone, this carefully crafted eight-sided stool emulates the look of a drum. A pattern of boss-head nails around the top and bottom imitates those used to stretch a skin on an actual drum. Targeted polishing enhances this illusion while giving the stool its texture and faceted form.
