This gorgeous elmwood chest was handcrafted over a hundred years ago during China's Qing dynasty (1644-1911). A skilled carpenter constructed the chest according to traditional Chinese woodworking techniques, using neither screws, nails, or glue. Every inch of the chest showcases the exquisite grain and coloring of Chinese elmwood, from the round legs to the floating panel top. A full moon brass plate provides harmonious contrast to the wood's patina, featuring bell-shaped pulls and a dagger post.
