Bai Meiping Vase

Meiping vases were traditionally used to hold the branches of plum trees, celebrated in China as symbols of strength. This contemporary interpretation, made in Jiangxi province, streamlines the form, cloaking it in a milky white glaze to call out its sculptural form.
