We’re captivated by this table’s mysterious, sculptural form. Its classic everted edges spill over in a waterfall silhouette, the uncharacteristic jagged turn lending the table the appearance of a written character. Exquisitely crafted from elmwood during the late Qing Dynasty, the table’s original black lacquer finish has mellowed to a warm brown with a fantastic crackle.
