Once a common sight in courtyards throughout rural China, this textured stone trough was filled with grain for chickens and other barnyard fowl. Chiseled from a block of stone over a century ago, the deeply weathered vessel has endless stories to tell. With its shallow basin, the trough makes a wonderful planter, perfect for hens-and-chicks and other lush succulents.
