These 18th century finials were originally part of a grand Chinese architectural structure. The level of craftsmanship and detail is incredible, the openwork carving is multi-dimensional and delicate, yet still survived all these centuries. The finials were once brightly colored, but the pigments have worn beautifully with time to expose the natural texture of the wood. Each is mounted on a custom steel stand.
