It’s rare to find a mirror created a hundred years ago in China with its original glass, but this framed mirror is one of the rare exceptions. It remarkably and beautifully survived the turmoils of the times. The hand-silvered glass "spoiled" beautifully. The ridged frame was carved and lacquered by hand and maintains a lustrous gloss.
