Centuries before Gutenberg's printing press, China was developing and perfecting printing processes that remain popular today. Originally used for printing fabric, this turn-of-the-century printing block from China's Dongbei province finds new life as a beautifully carved wall decoration. The block is intricately carved with a scene of a regal tiger, considered the king of wild beasts, resting beneath a pine tree beside two flitting birds. A comforting touchstone to guests and homeowners alike, this storied art object captivates with its texture and depth.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
