Created in China's Shanxi province, these striking, early 19th-century cabinets take their name from their elegant, rounded wood frames. Austere in their simplicity, the cabinets honor Ming furniture design with clean lines and even finishes, punctuated only by the original brass hardware. The pair was crafted of nanmu, a durable evergreen often praised in Ming literati writings as a superior timber. Elegant and arrestingly modern, these timeless cabinets work wonderfully in traditional and contemporary rooms as armoires with ample storage.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
