This cabinet gets its descriptive name from its rounded moldings, which resemble Chinese noodles. 150 years-old, it is dramatic in its simplicity--with clean lines that sweep upward and impressive door panels that extend without interruption from the top to the bottom of the frame. The depth and beauty of the timbers speak quiet volumes about the natural world and its strength, mystery and powers. The hand wrought brass fittings elegantly punctuate the austere form. At the time a cabinet like this was generally commissioned to house a collection of painted scrolls or other treasured belongings.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
